Multiple Fake news claims-: Wire has often been accused of its left based approach towards India, Founding Editor of thewire.in tweeted the below message “A very senior Congress leader & former CM of Delhi told me AAP would have got an additional 2 to 3 percentage vote share simply because BJP leaders launched a personal attack on Kejriwal, calling him a “terrorist”. This vicious attack angered voters who have been on the fence.”

News Verification: If you tell a lie often your tongue would slip, now since we tweet, your tweet can often slip. This can be very well said with the tweet of M K Venu, whose twitter profile states as “Founding Editor of thewire.in Former Executive Editor of The Hindu, Managing Editor of Financial Express, skeptic but optimist”.

In the tweet, the wire Founding Editor states that he talked to Congress leader & former CM of Delhi and got all the good information for the Delhi people. However, as of Feb 10, 2020, there is no Delhi former or ex-Chief Ministers alive.

5.     Sushma Swaraj: BJP chief Minister for 2 months in 1998,  Passed away in August 2019

6.     Sheila Dixit: Congress CM from 1998 to 2013, passed away in July 2019

Arvind Kejriwal is the current CM of Delhi, who is still alive, he is neither a former CM nor EX Cm.

After facing lots of question MK Venu, revealed the name of the Congress leader from whom he got the information. He corrected himself and said the former Delhi Congress chief and not CM Okay it was Ajay Maken.
