News Verification: Many people are claiming that this is a robbery attempt; however one should not forget to look into the scene. How the Kali Idol is vandalized. We state that it is Robbery and vandalization of the statues.

This is an event from Siliguri, where robbers attempted to steal in the Kali temple but failed. The miscreants who failed in the robbery broke the idol and escaped. The incident took place on Tuesday morning at Sukantpally Shivshakti Kali temple of Gatebazar under the NJP police station. In the investigation of this case, the NJP police station took five people into custody from the same area.

But inside, the idol of mother Kali was lying fragmented. Local people speculate that the thieves had come to steal the jewel from the idol of mother Kali. Due to the door being closed, they tried to remove those jewels with the help of a stick or a stick. After which the thieves fled from there. The people of the area gave information about the incident to the NJP police station.

So it is true that the idol was indeed vandalized in the robbery attempt.
