New Delhi:  The TV media is all over in hurry to declare Ravi Shastri as the head coach of India, however the BCCI has denied the reports by press conferences and said that Ravi Shastri has not been made the new coach of Team India.

The BCCI has said that the last decision has not been taken on the post of coach yet. Earlier it was reported that Ravi Shastri has become the new coach of Team India. His name has been stamped by the CAC and he has been appointed the coach of Team India for two years. The CAC had interviewed Ravi Shastri, Virender Sehwag, Richard Pybus, Tom Moody and Lalchand Rajput out of 10 people who applied for the post of coach on Monday.

Kumble gave resignation after differences with Virat
It is noteworthy that Kumble had resigned from his post while accepting the differences with captain Kohli. His tenure was over on 18th of June, during the ICC Champions Trophy, but the board extended his tenure to the West Indies tour.

Virat's first choice is Shastri, chances are that he will be the next coach
As coach, Ravi Shastri has always been the first choice of Team India captain Virat Kohli. Even last year, Virat was in favor of making the coach as Ravi, but then CAC's members Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman preferred their former teammate Anil Kumble. Other members of the CAC, Sachin Tendulkar was still in favor of Ravi Shastri, but by 2-1 votes, the CAC chose Anil Kumble as coach.
