News Verification: Bubble tea, this name may be new to some people, but it is a popular drink in many countries of Asia. For example, China and Taiwan. It started in Taiwan in the 80s. A post is going viral on social media for some time. It is being claimed in the post that goat faeces is used in this. Know how much truth is there in this?

A post claiming goat faeces in bubble tea was posted on Facebook on 28 November 2021. This post has got 191 reactions and 155 comments. It has been shared by 21 Facebook users so far.

To know the truth of this post, reverse searched these pictures on Google. In reverse search, these pictures were found on the account of a food blogger named Buangbunno on Instagram.

A report on Bubble-Tea has been published by Food & Wine Magazine. The report says, bubble tea originated in Taiwan in the 80s. Milt tea used to be quite common at that time, so this different type of drink was prepared with the help of ice cubes and tapioca pearls. 

According to Huff Post, tapioca pearls that fall in bubble tea are prepared from a special type of underground vegetable. Flour is prepared from it and the form of tablets is given. During the investigation, no mention of goat faeces was found in any of the bubble-tea recipes.
