New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today made a big statement about the violence happening around the country, with regard to cow protection. Before the Monsoon Session of Parliament, in the all-party meeting convened by the Government, Prime Minister Modi expressed concern over the violence in the name of cow protection He has given clear directions to all the states of the country that strict action should be taken against the people who have committed violence in the name of cow protection.
He told the states that such people should not be left at all. After the all-party meeting ended, Union Minister Ananth Kumar told this while addressing the press. He said that in the meeting, the Prime Minister took serious concern about the rising violence in the name of cow protection and gave instructions to all the states to take action against such people. It may be noted that even before this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made a strong comment on the people who committed violence in the name of cow protection. On the occasion of the second anniversary of the 'My Government' initiative of the Government, the PM had described such people as anti-social elements and said that such people could not be cow protectors. They are just running the shop in the name of protecting the cow.
He advised the state governments to prepare documents on so called cow guards, as 80 per cent of them perform illegal activities at night and become cow's advocates during the day. Running such a support group does not mean that others should be harassed.
The Prime Minister also said that due to the excessive consumption of plastic more death occurs for a cow. Those who want to serve animals should stop cows from eating plastic, because that will be great service.
